Day one skiing Mammoth Ski Resort was a success. Mammoth lost power to the resort & most of the lifts shut down with people on them. They could not get them started again since it was a power outage from #Edison
They had to send safety crews up to get the people down off lifts with safety ropes, like what they use in rock climbing. Mikey and I where only stuck for about 10 or 15 minutes, but I think they must have had a generator for that one because ours got back up and running. Over 80% of the park was shut down for hours, we do not know long it was down for because we left. Mikey and I only got a half day of skiing in today, but a good start to our adventure.
